I didn't drop out, moved out instead, and I've experienced homelessness for what has been the first, and most definitely last time in my life. And still, it doesn't feel nearly as bad and weird and awkward as living there felt, and so I evicted myself into my car, to the streets, commuting at five in the a.m. just to keep on top of things. Money ran low weeks ago, and I don't tell a sinner because I'm not the only one struggling, and I'd rather be alone than feel awkward or unwanted.
